Product and area of use
Founded in 1963 as a carbon steel welded tube manufacturer, in the early 1970s it was among the first companies in Italy to start production of stainless steel welded tubes and has continued to expand in this area of production, which for the last ten years has become its sole activity. The experience and know-how the company has acquired have helped it to become one of Europe’s most important quality tube manufacturers, the technical and quality aspects of the product from the start being privileged over commercial ones. As a result Europe, where levels of consumption of this product are higher, has become ILTA’s biggest market to which it exports around 80% of production and where it has a market share of 15% in the tube sector for special applications.
