OCTG casing and tubing
OCTG tubes are used in oil and natural gas drilling and extraction plants; these tubes are produced and supplied in compliance with standards API5CT and ISO 11960.
ATA produces OCTG tubes through high frequency (HFW) induction welding with additional material.
After welding:
- Diameters up to 3½” are hot rolled on a stretch-reducing Diameters over 3” are normalized on a stretch-reducing mill
- Diameters over 3½” are normalized on the weld or full body normalized
ARVEDI tubes are produced in the following Group 1 steel grades:
- H40 / K55 / J55 / N80
A particular steel grade is also available:
- “J55 Upgradable”, developed in collaboration with Acciaieria Arvedi, suitable for for upgrading to steel grades N80, L80 and P110.
State of supply: Arvedi OCTG tube is typically an unfinished tube, with plain ends – non-upset. The tube can be supplied as-rolled (bare) or protected with a temporary coating.
Tubing and Casing produced by Arvedi Tubi Acciaio in accordance with standard API 5CT is covered by API certificate licence number 5CT-0392.
