Tubes for soil nailing/geotechnical applications
Self-drilling bars
Arvedi Tubi Acciaio is Europe’s leading manufacturer of hot rolled tube for the production of self-drilling anchors, used for the consolidation of tunnel walls and soil stabilization, for example on steep slopes and landslides.
The reference standard for the manufacture of these tubes is EN10210 and the standard steel grades are S355J2H, S355 mod., S355NH, S46NH, 28MN6, 34MNB5, 38MNB5.
In collaboration with the technical offices of ATA’s customers, customized and optimized steel grades are specially designed and developed with specific dimensions to raise the workability of the bars and obtain better performance in the workshop, on site and in the field.
Supplies of Arvedi tubes for soil nailing are accompanied by test certificate in accordance with EN10204. The Arvedi tubes produced in accordance with EN10210 and in the steel grades provided by this standard are CE-certified and covered by UE 305/2011 performance certificate. Arvedi Tubi Acciaio is CE-certified for EN 10210 construction products with licence no. CE 1608 CPR P063.
EXPANDABLE ROCK BOLTING SYSTEM
These special hollow bars are produced to ATA specifications and can be supplied as-rolled or full-body normalized.
MICROPILES
Micropiles are supplied according to standard EN 10219 or EN 10296 in commercial lengths, internal welding bead removed, smooth ends, in the following steel grades:
- Base steels: S235 – S275 - S355J2
- High strength steels: S420MC - S460MC
- Ultra high strength steels (UHSS): S500MC -S700MC
- Other steel grades with high mechanical characteristics: N80
Supplies of Arvedi steels are accompanied by test certificate in accordance with EN10204. Arvedi tubes produced according to EN10219 and for the steel grades provided by this standard are CE-certified and covered by EU 305/2011 performance certification.
